Groupwork Centre designed training for our staff that lifted and amplified our ability to competently address the challenges of creating relationships, building deeper understanding and receiving input – usually in a short period of time.
This training was an important part of an organisational shift from defensive engagement to proactive, citizen-focused processes.
We gained skills to interact people-to-people, which has shifted the way many of us take up consultation and engagement – from a required task to the opportunity to work with citizens toward a better city.
