Facilitators’ Practice Circle - alumni event

  • Melbourne Australia (map)

Alumni Event

FPCs are a peer learning space to work on facilitation challenges, reflect on our work, refresh skills and try out new approaches or frameworks.

Held online via zoom.

  • Although we work WITH people, facilitation can be a suprisingly solo endeavour.

Peer learning circles are a chance to connect with other facilitators, learn and grow skills together.

Figuring out how to navigate challenging dymanics; or how to design a workshop can be daunting on your own. This is a circle of practice to which you can bring challenges, questions, role plays and curiosities.

  • FPCs are generally 'open format'. This means for most sessions we don't have a set topic. Instead, those who attend get to put forth suggestions and the group determines what gets worked on.

This means content is always relevant to the people present - and enables everyone to share skills, experience and wisdom with one another.

One of our Groupwork Centre trainers facilitates the session.

  • Facilitator practice circles are open to anyone who has attended our two day public course, our advanced Groupwork training, or a two day workplace training session with their workplace/organisation.

  • FPCs are held online via zoom (unless otherwise indicated).

  • In an effort to make FPCs accessible, we offer a sliding payment scale.

    Tickets are $100, $75 or $60

Please opt for the highest amount that feels attainable for you. (We base our budgetting on the $75 ticket - and if you pay $100 you are supporting others who cannot pay as much to attend.)

To opt for one of the smaller amounts add the following codes at registration/checkout:

    • FPC75

    • FPC60

  • Course fee: $100 - $35

    Payment options:

    • via credit card at time of booking

    • via direct debit (please request an invoice at time of booking. A tax invoice will be emailed to you.)

  • Before booking please read our rescheduling & cancellation policy here.
