Meet challenges. Be flexible. Think strategically and foster healthy relationships. Produce greater long-term results and become a great asset to your organisation.
Can your staff work well no matter what happens?
Emotional resilience gives people the capacity to be ‘bold’ – to speak up, to share ideas, take risks and use their full potential. It gives us greater strength to appropriately respond to workplace pressures and challenges and helps build robust, collaborative relationships.
Our experience shows that emotional resilience is vital to maximise effective workplace performance. Read more in our article: 7 Steps for Emotional Intelligence
Why our training for your staff?
We go further than the popular concept of emotional intelligence. The essence of emotional resilience is to be courageous with compassion, both to ourselves and others. This is the the cornerstone for all our training and education in group work; we have incorporated this understanding of self-awareness and perspective in our training since 1984.
What will participants learn?
- A model for understanding ‘the unconscious at work’
- Awareness of our own emotional ‘buttons’ and what presses these
- Strategies for managing our responses in challenging interactions
- Awareness of, and generosity of spirit towards, other people’s unconscious dynamics
- Staying centred in difficult situations – and acting wisely!
- Giving ‘hearable’ feedback
- Communicating across our differences
- Taking care of our emotional wellbeing at work.
The workshop is lively, experiential and practical.

Our approach to training
We create an environment where you can look at your work practices with safety and lightness. Our work is lively, experiential and practical – and fosters self-awareness as well as emotional resilience throughout. And we have a bit of fun along the way!
A large part of the program is devoted to practising skills using situations your staff members want to work on. We encourage them to bring real-life examples, and we allow time for them to address individual needs and issues faced in the workplace.
