Is your team missing … something?

Can you see your team lacking in focus? Are people working in silos, not sharing information and avoiding tension?

It may be fun to do paintballing or ropes courses, but do it after you’ve had the real conversation.

We provide a safe space where team members can safely and authentically review how they’re getting along. Based on your team’s assessment, your training helps you develop a kitbag of tools and processes to work well together, building on existing strengths.

We call it team building through collaborative skills building.

Our expertise is in providing high-quality facilitation and an effective process where robust discussions will lead to the pooling of all participants’ ideas, and synthesising them into an agreed way forward. This participatory approach leads to people owning the outcomes generated, creating highly effective and sustained teamwork

We undertake a thorough exploration of your team’s story, team values, issues and strengths. We always tailor content around your group’s needs, working on specific communication issues faced by the team. We pay special attention to tricky situations where your highest communication skills are most needed.

  • Making some behavioural ‘Getting Along’ agreements for our team
  • What it takes to achieve great teamwork
  • Things we might do differently in our team now.

Duration: One to two days 9.30am – 5.00pm, depending on your staff’s needs

Provided:  Delightful lunch, morning and afternoon tea, workshop materials and comprehensive resource: Teamwork – Getting Along Together Training Booklet

Venue: Groupwork Centre Training Rooms in Thornbury (Melbourne inner north) or other suitable workshop space of your choice

Parking: Ample street parking available

Our approach to training

We create an environment where you can look at your work practices with safety and lightness. Our work is lively, experiential and practical – and fosters emotional resilience throughout. And we have a bit of fun along the way!

A large part of the program is devoted to practising skills using situations your staff members want to work on. We encourage them to bring real-life examples, and allow time to address individual needs and issues faced in the workplace.
