Collaborative decision making in your workplace creates a culture where all team members are invested in the group’s outcomes, because they were a part of deciding what needs to be done.
Does your workplace need this?
A wise decision results from a good process that is well facilitated.
This training builds the skills and processes required to engage in collaborative decision making. In turn this greatly enhances a team or organisation’s effectiveness. Collaborative decision making pools individual wisdom and builds ownership of outcomes.
It is important for any individual team and the organisation to be clear about which decisions will be made where, by who and the process that will be used. Many of the conflicts we are called in to help resolve have unclear or poor decision making as a root cause.
There is now widespread understanding that, on important organisational matters, best outcomes are achieved through collaboration. However, putting this into practice is more complex than it sounds.
Why our training for your staff?
We deliver this training in-house, and can adapt the content to meet your organisation’s specific needs.
Our training builds practical confidence in your staff, so they develop an approach where everyone in the group becomes invested in the success of whatever that collaborative process has created. It’s not about just making a decision, it’s about the energy that is brought to life in the collaborative process and the quality of the decision that emerges from it.
We also offer this program as a public course if you have an individual or a few staff members interested (course dates here).

Our approach to training
We create an environment where you can look at your work practices with safety and lightness. Our work is lively, experiential and practical – and fosters emotional resilience throughout. And we have a bit of fun along the way!
A large part of the program is devoted to practising skills using situations your staff members want to work on. We encourage them to bring real-life examples, and we allow time for them to address individual needs and issues faced in the workplace.
