Belinda has had vast experience in the Community Services sector, facilitating group work programs for parents, children and workers using the Groupwork Institute framework to enhance participants’ wisdom within.
“It’s those inspiring times working with groups where a person has that ‘Aha!’, and you see the softening and big generous heart break through – those moments are worth everything to me,” explains Belinda.
She works with women and their children, covering a vast array of topics: family violence, attachment, play, self-care, literacy and numeracy for children. Currently working part-time with Brotherhood of St Laurence, Coordinator in the Early Years Program, Belinda engages with a diverse range of people and enjoys the cultural mix of her families and workers.
Belinda brings to her facilitation a sense of humour, passion about groups, compassion and deep connection to the participants.
